Yesterday she was restles, her hands keep rubbing her face, it gets red and redder, swollen..
hardly made her go to sleep..
My baby girl...Batrisyia..suffered eczema..due to unknown cause of allergy. 3mths plus, brought to the paedatrician after noticing her skin condition worsen. The doctor said her allergy was quite bad, will exacerbate if we can't find the root cause.
The doctor suggested below to source the root of allergy:
1.change to soy based milk, he suggested a few brand - will induce hard stools, but no choice
2.change to cetaphil brand for bathing
We're fortunate if the root cause is one of the above listed, If NOT... her skin condition would exacerbate once reaching her 4th mths. Will gradually improve after 8mths. Her skin is pretty bad now.. Poor my baby.....
Foods that Batrisyia has to avoid until she reaches 3 yrs (at least) old are EGGS, SEAFOOD, SOY SAUCE, BELACAN (eat this frequently during preggy, Helmi favor tis, i just go along with his craving but in a smaller amount). According to paed, the safest food that wont cause allergy is Lamb meat. Hm? we rarely eat lamb meat.
In addition to this, me & Helmi are both prone to allergy.. dust/food/nose allergy..I'm super allergic to dust... if I entered a dusty place, will start sneezing..and cause itchy to me.dried my face. etc

Sometimes a rash can just sneak up and appear out of nowhere. This rash may be eczema. Eczema is a chronic inflammatory condition that affects up to 20 percent of all babies, particularly those with a family history of skin irritations, asthma, or allergies. In babies, it often appears as a red, irritated, itchy rash on the face and scalp. In about 10 percent of cases of baby eczema, certain foods (such as cow's milk, eggs, wheat or oranges) may provoke an attack.
In babies, eczema often appears as a rash around the mouth and cheeks, but may spread to the chest, back and feet. Here are some tips for dealing with baby eczema, as well as extremely dry or sensitive skin. You should also talk to your baby's doctor about treatment.
Relieve the Irritation
Avoid things you think may cause itching, such as dust, grass, weeds, wool clothing and certain soaps, detergents, fabric softeners and perfumes. It may help to keep a diary to determine the cause.
Bathe Gently, Dry Carefully and Moisturize
Give your baby daily short baths -- no more than 5-10 minutes -- in water that is warm, not hot. You may want to add a specially formulated oil to the bathwater. Use mild skin cleansers or shampoos specially made for babies with sensitive skin. Be extra careful on areas often exposed to the environment. Dry the skin after a bath by patting with a soft towel, and then immediately apply moisturizer. Do not rub the skin. Moisturize frequently throughout the day, especially after bathing. Use an emollient cream, smoothing it into the skin in a downward motion.
Although eczema can be an irritating condition, by following these tips, you can help to make your baby feel much more comfortable.
